![]() Find different materials scattered all over the biome, including Salt Deposits, Lead, Gold, Copper Ore, and Quartz!ġ0. The three different sections of the Safe Shallows biome - a tall coral ridge, a seafloor, and a cave system - can be rearranged or reassembled for display/playability.ĩ. Different flora includes Writhing Weeds, Veined Nettles, Blue Palms, Seagrass, Brain Corals, Coral Plates, and Acid Mushrooms.Ĩ. ![]() Different fauna includes Peepers, Bladderfish, Rabbit Rays, a Crashfish, and two Gasopods (plus secret Rabbit Ray and Crashfish eggs!)ħ. The Mobile Vehicle Bay is also included, allowing the player to fabricate his Seamoth using the four included drones (caution: does not actually float).Ħ. The cockpit opens so you can seat a minifigure inside, the interior of which is also a exact representation of the in-game Seamoth.ĥ. The Seamoth was also really tricky to build, but I'm really glad with how it turned out (as you know, literally everything in Subnautica is round or spherical, and it's super hard to make Lego either round or spherical). The top and bottom hatches of the Lifepod actually open!Ĥ. For me, Lifepod 5 is the highlight of the set (it also was the hardest to build): the roof of the lifepod comes off so one can actually play inside! The interior of the lifepod is a faithful representation of the in-game lifepod, including a hinged Fabricator, a Medical Kit Fabricator, a Communications Relay, a Fire Extinguisher, the twin seats with the folding restraints, and storage compartments.ģ. The set includes three modules of the Safe Shallows biome, Lifepod 5, the Mobile Vehicle Bay, a Seamoth, plus the player and many different flora and fauna of the biome.Ģ. ![]() I'm even happier to report that one of our beloved Subnautica developers, Obraxis, has tweeted his support of the set as well - thanks Obraxis!! Much love <3ġ. I've been flabbergasted by the amount of support it's been getting - the count as of now is 461 supporters!! And the number is increasing by the hour. I still have so many ideas to implement to "brickify" - including *wink wink* some Precursor structures and *wink wink wink* some even bigger Leviathans than the Reaper!įor this set, I decided to depict the player's very first experience of Subnautica: the crash-landing of Lifepod 5 in the middle of the Safe Shallows! It's called "Exploring the Safe Shallows", and it has been out on Lego Ideas for about three weeks now. But don't worry! I'm not quitting any time soon. Made another Subnautica Lego set! I know it's been a while since I've updated my previous blog (the one with the Reaper Leviathan set and the Degasi seabase) but school has kicked into full gear and the time I have for Lego creating has substantially been reduced. ![]()
